The trail is pretty stable but we will have to walk about 4 hours round trip. It is possible to go swimming in the small lagoon under the waterfall, however it can be very cold.

Visit: Catarata de Gocta, Valera Peru

At 8:30 a.m. departure to Cocachimba, picturesque place with very friendly people from where we will start a 2-hour walk to the base of the second waterfall in the middle of lush vegetation typical of the cloud forest, habitat of the Cock of the Rocks , Tucaneta Esmeralda, Yellow-tailed Choro Monkey, hummingbirds among other endemic birds. After a while in the waterfall and taking some awesome snaps, we return to Cocachimba for lunch included, then we move to Chachapoyas. Ends the tour at approximately 5 pm.
